Job summary

St Anne's Community Services in Leeds is seeking a passionate PBS Practitioner to support people with learning disabilities and autism, developing person-centred PBS plans and delivering high-quality individualised support.

You will coach colleagues, embed PBS across services, and use data to drive positive outcomes while maintaining compassionate, values-driven practice in a charity that is committed to inclusion and opportunity for those we support.

Qualifications

  • Experience Health Professional with evidence of working in services with a wide range of needs.
  • BSc in a Psychology-related subject.
  • Knowledge of services for people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.

Responsibilities

  • Develop PBS plans that enable people to live fulfilling lives.
  • Coach, mentor and empower colleagues to deliver exceptional support with PBS.
  • Embed PBS principles into everyday practice across services.
  • Analyse information and turn insight into practical action to improve outcomes.

  • Have experience conducting behavioural assessments and developing PBS plans.
  • Understand restrictive practice reduction and person-centred approaches.
  • Enjoy coaching, mentoring, and supporting others to grow.
  • Be able to analyse information and turn insight into practical action.
  • Have excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Be organised, proactive, and adaptable.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel across the UK.

  • Knowledge of the wide range of statutory independent and third-sector service provisions for people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.
  • Knowledge of other relevant local and national documents/drivers that affects practice.
