Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Lead to guide PBS across our Westbury-based sites. You will work with staff teams to foster environments where young people can thrive, co-producing with families to tailor support plans and modelling evidence-based practices.

Your role includes delivering targeted PBS training, coaching colleagues, and ensuring person-centred approaches are embedded in daily practice to improve quality of life for children with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience supporting individuals with SEND.
• In-depth knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
• Understanding of behaviour support plans and risk assessments.
• Experience identifying and delivering training needs.
• Experience partnering with young people and their families.
• Ability to support others to understand behaviours and implement proactive strategies.
• Highly organised with initiative and care for young people.

Responsibilities

• Support staff to create capable environments enabling thriving young people.
• Lead development, organisation and delivery of high-quality PBS approaches.
• Co-produce with children and families to plan individualised support.
• Provide PBS training and coach staff on best practices with plans.
