Job summary

AECOM is seeking enthusiastic Ports Engineering Apprentices to join our team in Plymouth and develop skills across maritime infrastructure projects. You’ll support planning, design and development of port, harbour and waterfront structures, while gaining on-the-job experience and formal training towards a recognised qualification.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers in multidisciplinary teams, using CAD, BIM and modelling tools, with opportunities to progress to greater responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
• Three A-Levels (or equivalent) including Maths and a physical science, for Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship.
• Interest in civil, structural, coastal, marine or ports engineering and a desire to build a career in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of engineering drawings, plans and models.
• Support design and development of port, harbour and waterfront infrastructure.
• Assist with technical calculations, specifications and design information.
