Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to work with Portfolio Directors and client leadership to deliver best-in-class portfolio services. You will drive governance, data integrity and financial oversight, providing visibility and insight to support decision-making and sustained performance.

The role focuses on improving delivery through standardised ways of working, managing risks, relationships with senior stakeholders and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in portfolios or programmes, preferably in Real Estate, Infrastructure or Capital Projects.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced delivery environments with strong organisation and judgement.
• Strong understanding of portfolio, programme and project management methodologies with accreditation (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2, P3O, APM).
• Team leadership experience across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience establishing portfolio controls, RAID, tracking, governance and assurance activities.
• Advanced analytical and reporting capabilities with KPI dashboards.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver as part of high-performing teams, embedding governance and control processes.
• Lead end-to-end transformation/real estate portfolios and PMOs, driving measurable benefits.
• Maintain governance, risk management and reporting mechanisms to a high standard.
• Provide real-time portfolio insights to enable confident decision-making.
• Establish stakeholder management plans and communicate across leadership forums.
• Drive financial monitoring, budgeting and cost reporting; support procurement activities.
• Identify risks and coach teams to continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
