Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to lead portfolio delivery, governance and assurance across global/national portfolios. You will work with Portfolio Directors, client leadership and project teams to translate strategy into delivery and drive value, risk management and reporting.

The role requires strong experience in governance frameworks, data analytics, stakeholder management and financial oversight, with a track record of leading

Qualifications

• Proven experience in portfolios or programmes, preferably in real estate, infrastructure or capital projects.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-profile delivery environments with strong organisational skills.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks and controls (MSP/PRINCE2/APM).
• Team leadership experience across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in portfolio controls, RAID management, tracking & reporting.
• Advanced analytical and reporting capabilities with KPI insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in financial management activities including forecasting and budgeting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PM tools.
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field; MSP membership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver portfolio governance, control processes and value across portfolios.
• Lead data reporting cycles and real-time insights into programme performance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders; present status reports.
• Support financial monitoring, budgeting and procurement activities.
• Identify risks and health & safety considerations.
• Lead and develop internal teams to sustain high performance.
