Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting a non-patient facing Porter to work at Cheltenham Hospital on a temporary basis until 27 February initially. The role involves receiving, sorting and distributing parcels, deliveries, equipment and supplies across departments, with a focus on reliability and teamwork in a busy healthcare setting.

You will be on your feet, able to lift and move items, and must follow health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Have good communication and customer service skills.
• Be comfortable with a physically demanding role involving walking and lifting.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in porter, warehouse, logistics, delivery or stores is advantageous but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Receive and receipt incoming parcels and deliveries.
• Sort and distribute mail, parcels, supplies and equipment across the hospital.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Transport items safely and efficiently between departments.
• Liaise professionally with hospital staff, suppliers and couriers.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and infection control guidelines.
• Ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timescales.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a non patient facingPorter to work at Cheltenham Hospital on a temporary basis until 27 February initially. This is a physically active role supporting the smooth operation of the hospital by ensuring parcels, deliveries, equipment, and supplies are received, sorted, and distributed promptly across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
