One Ashford Hospital, part of Phoenix Hospital Group, is seeking a Porter to join our Hotel Services team on hours as and when required. You will support patient transfers, admissions, discharges and hospital operations to ensure a smooth, safe experience for patients, visitors and staff.

One Ashford Hospital, part of Phoenix Hospital Group, is looking for a dedicated Porter to join our Hotel Services team. This is a varied and important role at the heart of the hospital, helping to ensure our patients, visitors and colleagues receive a smooth, safe and supportive experience.
As a Porter, you will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the hospital. From supporting patients and assisting with transfers to helping departments, managing deliveries and ensuring the safe handling of waste, no two days will be the same.

You will ideally have:
The ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
A GCSE or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of health and safety and waste management within a hospital environment would also be advantageous.
You will be someone who genuinely cares about delivering a positive experience for patients and colleagues. You will understand the importance of dignity, privacy, confidentiality and safety, and will take pride in maintaining high standards in everything you do.
