M4 Talent Group - North is recruiting a Porter for a client in Sherburn in Elmet to support the home delivery team. You will help move and deliver furniture, kitchens and other large items, ensuring careful handling and on-time delivery.

This is a physically demanding on-site role requiring regular heavy lifting, a DBS check, and your own hi-vis clothing and safety boots. Expect early starts and a Tuesday–Saturday schedule within a professional delivery team.

Qualifications

• Physically fit due to heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Own hi-vis clothing and safety boots required.
• Valid DBS check required.
• Experience in delivery/porter/warehouse beneficial.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of furniture, kitchens, bedrooms and other household products.
• Carry and manoeuvre heavy and bulky items safely.
• Work alongside the delivery team to ensure goods are delivered accurately and on time.
• Provide excellent customer service at customers' homes.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles where required.

Our client is looking for a Porter to join their home delivery team based in LS25 6JH. You will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient delivery and movement of customers' goods.

This is a physically demanding role involving the delivery and handling of furniture, kitchens, bedrooms and other large household items, so applicants must be physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting.

What’s on offer:

• £13.09 per hour
• Tuesday to Saturday
• Day shifts
• Start times usually between 6:00am and 7:00am
• Opportunity to work as part of a professional home delivery team

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Assist with the delivery of furniture, kitchens, bedrooms and other household products
• Carry and manoeuvre heavy and bulky items safely
• Work alongside the delivery team to ensure goods are delivered accurately and on time

What you need to succeed:
