Job summary

The Cornwall Hotel Collection is seeking a reliable Day Porter for The Greenbank in Newquay to support day-to-day hotel operations. The role is part-time, requiring 3 days per week with flexibility for weekend hours.

Key duties include assisting with luggage and deliveries, maintaining clean and presentable public areas, and helping other departments with practical tasks while ensuring guest requests are handled with friendly service.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, hospitality or porter experience is desirable but not essential.
• Friendly, reliable and happy to help wherever needed.
• Practical and comfortable with a hands-on role.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physically able to carry out the practical requirements of the role.
• Flexible availability across different days of the week is essential.
• Must be able to work some weekends.

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Day Porter to join the team at The Greenbank on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week.

Flexibility is essential for this role. The working days will vary depending on the needs of the hotel and will include some weekend hours, so applicants must be able to work across different days of the week.

Responsibilities
