Job summary

The Cornwall Hotel Collection is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Server to join The Alverton in Truro on a part-time basis. You will help create a warm and welcoming experience for every guest, assisting with orders and service throughout the shift.

Ideal candidates enjoy guest interactions, are flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and value teamwork in a busy hospitality environment. Training will be provided and tips are shared 100% across the team.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and confidently.
• Serve food and drinks to a high standard.
• Keep tables, service areas and the restaurant/bar clean and presentable.
• Work closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth service.
• Respond to guest requests and help create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures.
