Job summary

Catch 22 invites you to join their on-site team in London (W12) as a porter. In this active, hands-on role you will move furniture, set up meeting rooms, receive deliveries and distribute items throughout the building.

The role runs flexible shifts from early morning to late evening, with a minimum four-hour block. You will provide a professional, responsive service to the client and team while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Active, physically demanding role requiring regular lifting and moving.
• Previous Porterage or manual handling experience preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (7am–11pm).

Responsibilities

• Move and handle furniture, tables, chairs, equipment and boxes throughout the building.
• Set up and reset meeting rooms, training rooms and event spaces, including moving furniture.
• Receive, unload and unpack deliveries.
• Move, store and distribute stock and supplies to designated areas.
• Collect and deliver boxes, parcels and other items around the building.
• Distribute and collect mail and courier items.
• Support events and functions, including setup and clear-down.
• Maintain and restock print and copy areas, including paper and toner.
• Carry out general porterage and facilities tasks as required.
• Follow all manual handling and Health & Safety procedures while carrying out duties.
• Provide a professional, helpful and responsive service to the client and wider team.

Flexible Shifts:

Between 7am-11pm (minimum 4‑hour shifts)

• Receiving, unloading and unpacking deliveries.
• Moving, storing and distributing stock and supplies to designated areas.
• Collecting and delivering boxes, parcels and other items around the building.
• Distributing and collecting mail and courier items.
• Supporting events and functions, including setup and clear‑down.
• Maintaining and restocking print and copy areas, including paper and toner.
• Carrying out general porterage and facilities tasks as required.
• Following all manual handling and Health & Safety procedures while carrying out duties.
• Providing a professional, helpful and responsive service to the client and wider team.

This is an active, physically demanding role involving regular lifting, carrying, moving and handling of furniture, equipment, deliveries and boxes.
