Job summary

Alliance Healthcare in Leeds is seeking a reliable Porter to join our transport team. The role focuses on sorting and distributing orders accurately to despatch bays and delivery routes, ensuring correct allocation of goods.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 04:00–08:00, totaling 30 hours per week. The position involves manual handling, housekeeping, and adhering to health and safety procedures, with occasional Saturday cover.

Responsibilities

• Safely transfer loads to the despatch bay.
• Accurately sort and distribute customer orders.
• Correctly distribute and store trays and bins.
• Follow all checking-off procedures.
• Maintain standards in line with Health & Safety policies.
• Identify and report damages in accordance with company procedures.
• Work productively to meet operational targets.
• Adhere to site security procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the work area.
• Provide holiday cover for other Porters on Saturday mornings when required.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately sorting and distributing orders within the transport department, ensuring goods are allocated to the correct delivery routes and areas.

Location: Alliance Healthcare

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 04:00am to 08:00am

Hours: 30 hours per week

Pay Rate: £13.07 per hour

Key Responsibilities
