Stena Line is seeking a Port Maintenance Operative to provide on-site maintenance support for the Technical Services team and help keep port facilities and machinery safe and operational. You will join a close-knit team, learn new skills, and take on varied tasks across the port.
The role offers outdoor work across weather conditions, with training provided for access by boats and in confined spaces. This is a full-time, permanent position within our Port Operations/Technical Services team.

Some of your key responsibilitiesAs a Port Maintenance Operative, you'll be part of a team that plays an important role in keeping our port operations running safely and efficiently.
The role offers variety, with tasks and priorities changing depending on the current workload and operational requirements. Weekly work schedules will provide details of the tasks to be completed, but flexibility is important as priorities can change.
A large proportion of the role will involve working outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Some tasks may require you to use boats to access work areas, with suitable equipment and training provided. There may also be occasions where you are required to work in confined spaces, with appropriate training and equipment provided.
This is an opportunity to develop your practical skills, gain experience across a range of maintenance activities and work within a supportive team environment.

Requirements:Previous experience operating machinery or working within a port, construction, engineering or maintenance environment would be advantageous.
