Job summary

Port of Tilbury London Ltd is seeking two Service Technicians to join the LCTE Engineering team at the Port of Tilbury. You will perform planned maintenance and fault diagnosis on terminal equipment, ensuring safety standards and maximizing plant availability.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical work, recording all activities in CMMS, and collaborating with operations and engineering teams to support efficient terminal operations. Shift patterns and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ, ONC or HNC in an engineering related discipline.
• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on terminal equipment.
• Operate safely and to high standards, maximise equipment reliability.
• Record maintenance activities using maintenance software.
• Communicate with Shift Supervisors and Engineering Management on faults and progress.
• Support equipment reliability and compliance through fault investigation and safety checks.
