Port of Tilbury London Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Technician (Electrical) to perform planned maintenance and reactive repairs across terminal plant and equipment.

You will respond to faults promptly to keep the Grain Terminal operating safely and efficiently, supporting the team with effective reporting and documentation. The role requires practical electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting, along with flexibility for rotational shifts, including weekends, and a

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems incl. PLCs, automation, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience fault-finding in industrial fixed plant and equipment.
• UK driving licence and working rights.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and breakdown repairs across plant and equipment.
• Develop understanding of terminal plant to support repairs and minimise downtime.
• Carry out installations, improvements and modifications to plant and systems.
• Report damage or concerns to Engineering or Operational Managers.
• Support operations with fuelling, lubrication and cleaning as needed.
• Communicate status updates on repairs and plant conditions with team.
