Job summary

MS-Group Limited, including Popin in Wales, seeks a Production Assistant to support digital print, lamination and graphics for vehicle wraps. You will help manage high volumes, coordinate with the production team and ensure deadlines are met with accuracy and attention to detail.

The role requires practical ability, willingness to travel across nationwide sites, and a 40-hour week with early starts. Competitive hourly rate provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE pass in Maths and English.
• Aptitude for learning computer packages.
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop preferred.
• Effective planning & organising skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
• Ability to analyse and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Monitors stock inventory and raises requisitions to the Purchaser for additional stock.
• Learn and develop production processes.
• Provide information for resolving and/or referring non-conformances pertaining to production processes.
• Maintains records on production supply inventories and job print records.
• Maintains a clean and efficient workshop.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Introduction

MS-Group consists of several high-quality stone masonry and signage companies. Popin is Wales’ leading vehicle wrap and graphics company, located at 3-4 Tollgate Close, Cardiff.

The Position

The Production Assistant will assist with all aspects of digital pint, lamination and graphics production creating perfect kits for the vehicle wrapping teams. This essential position in the production team requires an energetic individual who has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in working to the highest quality standards. The Production Assistant will help manage high volumes of jobs through production working methodically to production schedules and time-critical deadlines. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.

• Flexible in duties and prepares to work overtime often at short notice, as client requirements dictate.
• Full time 40 hours per week contract, working Monday-Friday 07:30-16:30
• From £10.85-£12.71 per hour
