Job summary

The Hurlingham Club is seeking a Fitness Duty Supervisor to actively oversee the Swimming & Fitness facilities, ensuring safe day-to-day operations and outstanding member service. The role covers poolside and studio supervision, rota-driven shifts, and collaboration with other departments to meet programme goals.

Ideal candidates will bring superb customer service, team leadership, and budget awareness, with qualifications in pool, lifeguard, first aid, or gym settings considered desirable.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Commercially astute with experience managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe day-to-day operation of the indoor pool, fitness and studio areas.
• Lead shifts as Duty Supervisor and respond to operational issues.
• Maintain high standards of service, safety and presentation across the department.
• Collaborate with other departments to support programme goals.
• Promote classes and engage members through channels and campaigns.
