Job summary

Village Hotels is opening a new leisure facility with a focus on running a safe and efficient pool environment. The Leisure Operations Manager will own the wet side operations, including plant room management, poolside safety, and daily team oversight of Leisure Assistants.

The role requires previous wet side management experience, a proactive, standards-driven mindset, and strong leadership to drive a team while maintaining exceptional health and safety standards across the leisure club.

Qualifications

• Previous wet side management experience is essential.
• Attitude, proactive nature and absolute obsession with standards matter.
• Technical knowledge for the plant room and leadership skills to drive a team of assistants.

Responsibilities

• The Engine Room: Manage plant room operations, ensure chemical levels, temperatures and filtration systems run safely.
• The Wet Side: Oversee poolside operations and Health & Safety compliance.
• The Cleanliness: Maintain immaculate changing rooms and wet facilities from open to close.
• The Team Leadership: Oversee, train and motivate Leisure Assistants to uphold club standards.
