Job summary

Village Hotels is opening a new leisure facility with a focus on running a safe and efficient pool environment. The Leisure Operations Manager will own the wet side operations, including plant room management, poolside safety, and daily team oversight of Leisure Assistants.

The role requires previous wet side management experience, a proactive, standards-driven mindset, and strong leadership to drive a team while maintaining exceptional health and safety standards across the leisure club.

• The Cleanliness: Maintain immaculate changing rooms and wet facilities from open to close.
• The Team Leadership: Oversee, train and motivate Leisure Assistants to uphold club standards.

The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance

As our Leisure Operations Manager for the Pool, you are the absolute protector of the club's physical safety and cleanliness. You will manage the entire wet side operation, taking total ownership of the plant room, poolside safety, and the daily management of our Leisure Assistants. You ensure that behind the scenes, the mechanics of the club run flawlessly so our members can swim and relax safely.

Your Shift: What You Will Actually Be Doing

• The Cleanliness: Setting the standard. You will drive operational excellence across the changing rooms and wet facilities, ensuring the cleanliness is immaculate from open to close.
• The Team Leadership: Building the talent. You will oversee, train, and motivate our team of Leisure Assistants, ensuring they are vigilant on poolside and proactive when it comes to maintaining the club's standards.
