Job summary

Village Hotel Sheffield is seeking an experienced Leisure Operations Manager for the Pool to own the wet side operations, safety, and cleanliness. You will lead the plant room, poolside safety, and the Leisure Assistants to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for guests.

Previous wet side management is essential; your attitude, proactive nature, and obsession with standards matter as much as your technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• The Engine Room: manage plant room operations, ensure chemical levels, temperatures and filtration systems run safely.
• The Wet Side: oversee poolside operations and Health & Safety for the leisure club, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• The Cleanliness: drive operational excellence across changing rooms and wet facilities.
• The Team Leadership: oversee, train and motivate Leisure Assistants.
