Job summary

Parkdean Resorts in the United Kingdom is seeking attentive Lifeguards to ensure guest safety and enjoyment across our pools and leisure areas. You will supervise, respond to incidents, perform first aid, and help maintain water quality and cleanliness while delivering friendly service.

We value flexibility for weekends/evenings/bank holidays, a customer-focused mindset, and a calm, proactive attitude. Training is provided where needed, and safeguarding checks are part of our recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NPLQ Lifeguard qualification, or be willing to gain through training.
• Desirable: Pool Lifeguard Trainer Assessor, Pool Plant Operations, or First Aid at Work.
• Customer-focused with strong commitment to guest safety and experience.
• Confident in a fast-paced environment with guest welfare responsibility.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
• Positive, calm and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervising the pool and ancillary areas to ensure guest safety.
• Responding promptly and professionally to incidents per emergency action plans.
• Providing first aid and emergency response as required.
• Carrying out routine water quality tests and recording results.
