Job summary

Freedom Leisure is hiring a Lifeguard to ensure friendly, clean and safe facilities for members and visitors. You will relate to customers of all ages, support colleagues, and help maintain high service standards across our 130+ centres across England and Wales.

We provide training and development opportunities; flex hours and rota-based shifts, with a focus on customer safety and wellbeing in a dynamic leisure environment.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification is required.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• First Aid at Work is desirable.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented approach across organisation boundaries.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the best levels of service for customers by maintaining friendly, clean and safe facilities.
• Support and coach customers and colleagues to promote a positive leisure experience.
• Assist with routine cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment as appropriate.
