Job summary

West Lothian Council's Leisure Team at Fauldhouse Partnership Centre is seeking a part-time lifeguard to operate across the pool, sauna, steam room, sports hall and 3G Pitch. You will work between dry-side and poolside, guarding, instructing, setting up equipment and assisting with customer enquiries.

Applicants must hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, have strong customer service skills, and be able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
• Clear focus on delivering high quality customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard duties across poolside and dry-side areas.
• Provide instruction and coaching to facility users.
• Set up and dismantle equipment; supervise safety.
• Maintain pool plant equipment and carry out routine facility maintenance.
• Deliver reception tasks and respond to customer enquiries.
• Open and close leisure facilities; ensure cleanliness and safety.
