Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking a motivated Leisure Attendant to join Annan Swimming Pool. The role involves lifeguarding, customer care, and light duties within a team, with 17 hours per week across 52.14 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with the general public, children and customer care.
• RLSS Lifeguarding qualification preferred; First Aid certificate desirable but training can be given.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general leisure attendant duties ensuring customer safety at all times.
• Lifeguarding and supervising pool users.
• Cleaning duties and setting up/dismantling of sports equipment.
• Communicate effectively with members of the public and other staff.
