Job Description

Rate of pay: $17.25/hour USD

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Display a congenial appearance and be well groomed at all times.
2. Handle a fast-paced work environment with attention to detail.
3. Ensure all setups are ready for service according to standards.
4. Assist service colleagues in completing pre-shift duties, including polishing all serving trays, setting up the pass area for dinner service, polishing buckets, and other side duties.
5. Assist in delivering a flawless dining experience by providing exceptional food, service, decor, and presentations.
6. Support the service team in maintaining these standards consistently.
7. Communicate effectively between the kitchen and Front of House staff.
8. Expedite completed dishes to the service area and serve tables when needed.
9. Assist in breakdown and clean-up of service areas, including cleaning and storing service trays and pass items.
10. Perform miscellaneous duties such as assisting guests with setup, clearing, lighting fire pits, etc.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Card required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator.
• Basic computer skills.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make rational decisions.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, services, and facilities.
• Superior guest service abilities and understanding of California serving guidelines.
