Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to set up and operate polysomnographic equipment for sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment. You will be responsible for understanding monitored parameters used in scoring and preparing polsysmographic reports, with the ability to institute life-saving measures when needed.
Minimum education includes a high school diploma; an associate degree in health sciences is preferred.
Under general supervision of the Director or Medical Director, the Polysomnographic Technologist is responsible for setting up and operating Polysomnographic equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep related disorders. In addition, the technologist must have a thorough understanding of all monitored parameters which are utilized in the computer scoring and preparation of Polysomnographic reports. Ability to institute and maintain life saving measures is required.
