Job summary

Severn Trent is recruiting for its Pollution Response Team in Network Control at a central Coleshill base. You will work a 24/7 rotating shift pattern across 4 on/4 off blocks, handling pollution events, equipment deployment and site maintenance to minimise environmental impact.

Role requires a clean driving licence; HGV C Class is desirable. The package includes extensive training, generous benefits, and a chance to contribute to community protection and safe road/heath practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold a clean valid driving licence.
• HGV C Class licence desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Respond to pollution events and mitigate effectively using specialist tools and equipment.
• Maintain operational readiness and respond within SLAs, documenting evidence and providing updates.
• Set up traffic management, raise notices and permits electronically.
• Deploy generators to maintain power at sites as required.
• Execute on-site operational duties, conduct vehicle checks and liaise with departments.
• Capture pollution impact information including photos and samples.
