Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Polish-speaking Accounts Payable Specialist for an 8-month temporary contract in Speke. The role offers a hybrid pattern (3 days in the office, 2 days home-based) and an hourly rate of £13.85, working 37.5 hours per week.

You will process invoices, run ageing reports, liaise with customers and collections agencies, and support continuous improvement within a finance team.

Qualifications

• Polish language fluency is required.
• Experience in accounts payable is preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Run ageing reports and review accounts payable balances for accuracy.
• Process invoices efficiently and accurately.
• Resolve non-payment issues and maintain relationships.
• Liaise with collection agencies on escalations.
• Collaborate with sales to manage payment issues.
• Assist cash application and write-offs as needed.
• Support ad hoc inquiries and continuous improvement initiatives.
