Zusammenfassung

Travail Employment Group is recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join a busy finance team on a 13-month maternity cover contract with an immediate start.

The role is based in Darlington and offers hybrid working after training (2 days in the office, 3 days home). It is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week with core hours 8-4 or 9-5 and flexibility available.

Qualifikationen

• Proven Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, data analysis.
• Experience with AP reconciliations and balance sheet accounts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• AAT Level 3 qualified or studying (desirable).
• Polish language skills would be highly beneficial but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and process payments including BACS and wire transfers.
• Resolve supplier queries and invoice discrepancies.
• Reconcile supplier statements and AP balance sheet accounts.
• Analyse AP data and investigate outstanding GRNI balances.
• Support month-end close activities, journals and reporting.
• Identify process improvements and AP projects.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

We're recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join a busy finance team on a 13-month maternity cover contract, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable role

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and process payments, including BACS and wire transfers
• Resolve supplier queries and invoice discrepancies
• Reconcile supplier statements and AP balance sheet accounts
• Analyse AP data and investigate outstanding GRNI balances
• Support month-end close activities, journals, and reporting
• Identify process improvements and support AP projects
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers

What We're Looking For

• Proven Accounts Payable experience within a fast-paced environment
• Strong Excel skills, including:

• Experience with AP reconciliations and balance sheet accounts
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Dealing with European Accounts majority being with Poland. Polish Language skills would be highly beneficial but not essential
• Good communication skills are essential

• Hourly pay rate based on a salary of 30,000 - 34,000 ( weekly paid)
