Job summary

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of Nottinghamshire Police for a Police Staff Investigator – PIP Level 2 to join the Public Protection - Children At Risk of Exploitation Team in Nottinghamshire. The role involves conducting serious and complex investigations, interviewing victims and witnesses, gathering intelligence, preparing case files for courts, and attending hearings.

The successful candidate will have UK residency, PIP Level 2 qualifications or equivalent, and be willing to drive and work

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting serious and complex investigations.
• Ability to interview victims, witnesses and suspects in line with legal standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of criminal investigations and develop proportionate investigation plans.
• Interview victims and witnesses while ensuring compliance with the Victims Charter.
• Interview suspects in line with PACE Code C and E.
• Gather and utilise intelligence to enhance investigations.
• Prepare comprehensive case files for presentation in Magistrates and Crown Courts.
• Attend court to provide evidence and represent the organisation in multi-agency meetings.
