Job summary

Police Care UK is seeking a Police Engagement Officer to identify and build effective relationships with police forces, leaders and staff to raise the charity’s profile and drive engagement. The role supports awareness of services among serving and veteran officers, staff and families, while exploring opportunities for collaboration and income generation.

The postholder will travel across the UK, acting as a key ambassador and providing regular reports on engagement activity and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience of identifying, maintaining and monitoring key external relationships.
• Experience of working within, alongside or closely with policing, criminal justice, public sector or blue light organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with police forces across the UK, including engaging senior staff and stakeholders.
• Increase awareness of Police Care UK's services among officers, staff and families.
• Act as the voice of policing within the charity and provide regular engagement reports.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, service delivery and income generation.
