Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Podiatry & Diabetes Administrator Apprentice to provide essential administrative support for the Podiatry and Diabetes services. You will liaise with patients and professionals, input clinic data, and assist with training days.

A DBS check is required and will be funded by the Trust. Right to work in the UK must be held; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Solid administrative background with multi-tasking and time management.
• Excellent Microsoft Office literacy and attention to detail.
• Strong customer care and communication skills; telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide Call Centre function to support patients in booking Podiatry appointments.
• Support the administrative functions of the Podiatry Suite for community services.
• Input data relating to clinic attendances, DNAs, and patient pathways.
• Ensure patients and visitors are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner.
• Support the Diabetes Education or Diabetes Specialist Nurses with administration functions.
