We are looking for a part time band 5 podiatrist to join our community podiatry team.
We welcome applicants from both newly qualified and experienced / early career podiatrists and will support you through preceptorship and junior competencies portfolio (if applicable).
The role is varied - you will provide care from a range of community venues along with providing care to patients in their own homes who are unable to attend clinic. It is therefore essential you have access to appropriate transport.
The role involves assessing and treating a range of patients with underlying health conditions which place their foot at risk, and those with a podiatric need. You will develop treatment plans appropriate to their level of risk and provide health education to patients to support their treatment to achieve optimal outcomes.
Along with general podiatry clinics the post holder will provide basic biomechanical assessments and treatments which may include exercise and the provision of orthotics.
