Job summary

The Animal & Plant Health Agency invites applications for a PMO Manager to lead a large, complex programme. You will establish proportionate standards, controls and reporting to ensure delivery is well governed, transparent and focused on agreed outcomes.

Working with the Senior Responsible Owner, Programme Manager and key stakeholders, you will provide PMO advice, insight, assurance and challenge across the programme lifecycle, from business case development through delivery and change

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading PMO for large, complex programmes.
• Strong governance, risk, dependency and benefits management.
• Ability to translate strategy into delivery with measurable outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMO function and develop the PMO team with clear standards.
• Establish and improve controls for plans, milestones, risks and reporting.
• Maintain governance and coordinate assurance including reviews.
• Oversee integrated plans, dashboards and performance information for leaders.
• Manage risk, issues and dependencies to inform decisions.
• Support business cases, benefits tracking and prioritisation.
• Coordinate budgets, forecasts and resource information with finance.
• Engage stakeholders and delivery partners to enable progress.
• Drive continuous improvement and share learning across delivery.
• Provide pragmatic delivery support to turn strategy into outcomes.
