Job description

POWWR provides advanced platforms and simple solutions for over 25 energy suppliers and more than 1,400 brokers across the United Kingdom. It empowers energy suppliers and brokers to grow their businesses and create a transparent, connected journey. The company was previously known as UD Group in the United Kingdom.

We are looking for an organised and analytical PMO Analyst to join our UK Change & Delivery team and strengthen the governance, visibility and control of our client-facing software implementations and internal change portfolio.

In this central portfolio role, you'll maintain consistent project controls, consolidate delivery information and provide clear management insight across milestones, risks, dependencies, resources, decisions and outcomes. You'll work closely with Change & Delivery Leads and teams across Product, Development, Sales, Account Management, Support, Training and Finance.

You'll help ensure that governance is proportionate, reporting is accurate and decision-makers have the information needed to prioritise effectively and intervene early where delivery is at risk.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to really make your mark within a growing and ambitious company.

What You Will Be Doing

You’ll provide the structure, insight and follow-through that support reliable portfolio delivery.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll also be accountable for:

Maintaining the portfolio register, delivery roadmap, governance calendar and standard project controls.

Consolidating project plans, milestones, dependencies and forecasts into a clear portfolio-level view.

Collecting, validating and consolidating project status information to agreed weekly and monthly reporting timetables.

Producing portfolio dashboards, status reports and leadership packs that highlight trends, exceptions, decisions and areas requiring intervention.

Maintaining portfolio RAID, action and decision logs with clear ownership, mitigations and target dates.

Coordinating governance forums, stage gates and portfolio reviews, including agendas, papers, decisions, minutes and actions.

Maintaining the project and portfolio change-control process and ensuring approved changes are reflected in plans and reporting.

Supporting resource and capacity planning by maintaining visibility of demand, allocation, constraints and skills gaps.

Administering agreed tools, trackers, templates and document repositories, including Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel and PowerPoint.

Serving as the primary client contact during implementation and facilitating workshops, requirement sessions and regular progress updates.

Coordinating lessons learned and monitoring agreed improvements through to implementation.

Ensuring portfolio records are organised, accurate, auditable and handled in line with data protection, security and retention requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

You'll be highly organised, proactive and dependable, with a practical approach to governance. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work across technical, commercial and operational teams and will be expected to promote transparency, shared accountability and timely follow-through.

  • Experience in a PMO, project support, portfolio coordination or delivery-governance role.
  • Practical knowledge of project governance, planning, reporting, RAID management, action tracking and change control.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate project data into concise, actionable management insight.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with proficiency in Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the confidence to validate and challenge complex information.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor information for leadership, delivery teams, clients and technical stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities without losing accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum and waterfall delivery approaches.
  • Awareness of GDPR, information security and document-control requirements.
  • Experience in software, technology, utilities or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience supporting resource and capacity planning.
  • Understanding of project financial tracking and benefits realisation.
