Five Education is seeking a SEND Teacher (PMLD) for a Bristol specialist school to deliver highly personalised learning for children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties across primary and secondary ages.

You will plan engaging, sensory-rich lessons, work with therapists, families and external professionals to ensure pupils receive a high-quality educational experience and support. A QTS and SEND experience are essential, with a competitive MPS/UPS salary and immediate start.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, nurturing, stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support pupils' communication, sensory, physical and personal development.
  • Develop and implement personalised learning targets and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with support staff, therapists and families.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress using appropriate assessment frameworks.
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews and annual reviews.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
