Job summary

PMLD Teacher role in Brent, West London, with a salary of £1,000–£1,100 per week, start ASAP/ March 2026. You will teach a small class of 8 pupils from Years 4-7, supporting children with PMLD and complex medical needs, including non-verbal students and a VI pupil.

The school offers strong TA support and holistic development focus. The ideal candidate will hold QTS or QTLS and have experience with SEND, with newly qualified teachers welcome.

An outstanding and inclusive special school in Brent, a short walk from Kingsbury station is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Secondary Teacher to join their team from Feb half term. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs and learning difficulties.

About the role

You will be teaching a small class of 8 pupils across Years 4-7, supporting children with PMLD and complex medical needs. The class includes pupils who are non-verbal, with communication and sensory needs, as well as one pupil with a visual impairment (VI).

The role would suit a teacher who is confident working with pupils with complex SEND and who can create a calm, engaging and highly supportive learning environment.

You'll be well supported by a team of experienced Teaching Assistants, therapists and senior leaders, with a strong focus on each pupil's individual development, communication and wellbeing.
