Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated PMLD Specialist to support 5 pupils in a specialist SEN school in Dudley. The role involves personal and mobility support, following care plans, and working closely with teachers and therapists to enable learning and independence.

Ideal candidates will have experience with PMLD and complex needs, hoist or manual handling training, empathy, and teamwork. Start ASAP, full-time position in a supportive school environment.

Competenze

• Experience working with PMLD and complex needs in an SEN setting.
• Hoist or Manual Handling training is essential for supporting wheelchair users.
• Experience with complex medical needs is desirable.
• Patient, compassionate and confident when providing physical and personal support.
• Able to follow care plans and safeguarding procedures effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and flexible approach; start ASAP.

Mansioni

• Support a small group of 5 pupils with PMLD and complex medical needs.
• Provide personalised support to meet each pupil's learning, care and communication needs.
• Assist pupils who are wheelchair users with mobility and transfers.
• Collaborate with teachers, teaching assistants and other professionals.
