Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting SEND Support Workers for a large SEND specialist provision in the Slough area, with roles in Windsor. You will work with children aged 5–19 with PMLD, providing patient, calm support to help them feel safe and included.

The role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours, training provided including moving and handling and personal care; enhanced DBS required. Join a dedicated team that partners with teachers and external professionals to raise wellbeing and

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with additional needs.
• Experience supporting pupils aged 5–19 with PMLD.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils aged 5–19 with PMLD.
• Support with delivery of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Encourage emotional wellbeing, communication and social development.
• Communicate clearly with teachers, staff and external professionals.
• Assist with personal care when required (training provided).
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
