Job summary

Milk Education is seeking Learning Support Assistants for roles in Aldershot, Camberley and Woking. The team is dedicated to supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally, with a focus on inclusive education and wellbeing.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with children or young people, and preferably with SEND, SEMH or ASD. This on-site role values patience, reliability and teamwork, with graduates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, ASD, or additional needs is beneficial.
• Patient, supportive, and approachable.
• Confident working with pupils of different abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils during lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to help reinforce learning.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and resilience.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND where required.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.
• Help pupils access the curriculum through tailored support and encouragement.
• Support pupils during wider school activities, routines, and transitions.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
