Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Raunds is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for the PM shift (Mon-Fri 14:00-22:00). You will oversee a section of the warehouse, lead operatives, coordinate workloads and drive performance, safety, and quality.

You will develop the team, train new operatives, monitor KPIs, maintain stock records, and act as the main contact for customers and partners. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Possess a proactive approach, confident in decision making.
• Good IT knowledge, including spreadsheets and warehouse systems.
• A solid understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of lean techniques would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing and motivating your team to meet KPIs and deadlines.
• Training new operatives and supporting ongoing development.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock movement records.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and fostering a culture of safe working.
• Producing reports, assisting with stock takes, and planning future capacity needs.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and transport partners, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
