DSV is recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for the AM Shift at Raunds, Wellingborough. You will oversee a section of our warehouse, lead operatives, monitor performance, and support the management team to achieve targets and drive safety.

The role demands proven warehouse leadership, strong people and communication skills, and a proactive approach to planning and improving productivity, with a focus on health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach and confident in decision making.
• Good IT knowledge, including spreadsheets and warehouse systems.
• Solid understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of lean techniques would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing and motivating your team to meet KPIs and deadlines.
• Training new operatives and supporting ongoing development.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock movement records.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and fostering a culture of safe working.
• Producing reports, assisting with stock takes, and planning future capacity needs.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and transport partners, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
