Rise Technical Recruitment is hiring a Plumbing Trainer in Whitstable to deliver practical plumbing and heating training. The 42-week contract pays £33,500–£43,000 pro rata, with full teacher training and excellent work–life balance.

You’ll teach Entry Level to Level 2 learners, support apprentices to Level 3, and assist EHCP students to build practical skills. Normal hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with preparation time and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified plumber with NVQ Level 3 plumbing & heating and industry experience.
• Willing to train as a teacher; full teacher training provided.
• Able to work Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
• Experience with EHCP learners advantageous.
• Passion for developing learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical Plumbing and Heating training to learners aged 16+.

The organisation has ambitious plans for growth, with continued investment across its College, Apprenticeship and Adult Learning divisions. Following recent successful inspections and increasing learner numbers, they are expanding their Construction department and are looking for an experienced Plumbing professional to join the team.

Previous teaching experience isn't essential. If you're an experienced plumber with an NVQ Level 3 qualification and a genuine passion for helping others, full teacher training and ongoing support will be provided to help you transition into education.

Working Monday to Friday, you'll teach practical plumbing and heating skills to learners studying from Entry Level through to Level 2, while also supporting apprentices working towards Level 3 qualifications.
