Plumbing Trainer (Full Training Provided) Whitstable
Are you a qualified Plumber looking to step away from the tools and into a rewarding career where you can pass on your knowledge and genuinely change people's lives?
Do you want to join a supportive organisation that will train you to become a teacher, provide an outstanding work-life balance and allow you to help young people build successful careers within the plumbing industry?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing specialist education provider that is passionate about developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
Unlike traditional colleges, this organisation specialises in supporting young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), providing a practical learning environment where students who may not have flourished in mainstream education can develop confidence, independence and valuable trade skills.
The organisation has ambitious plans for growth, with continued investment across its College, Apprenticeship and Adult Learning divisions. Following recent successful inspections and increasing learner numbers, they are expanding their Construction department and are looking for an experienced Plumbing professional to join the team.
Previous teaching experience isn't essential. If you're an experienced plumber with an NVQ Level 3 qualification and a genuine passion for helping others, full teacher training and ongoing support will be provided to help you transition into education.
Working Monday to Friday, you'll teach practical plumbing and heating skills to learners studying from Entry Level through to Level 2, while also supporting apprentices working towards Level 3 qualifications. You'll benefit from dedicated preparation and administration time, modern workshop facilities and a collaborative team that genuinely enjoys working together.
For many plumbers, this role represents the opportunity to continue working within an industry they love while enjoying a significantly better work-life balance. With a 42-week contract, generous time away from work and the opportunity to keep your hand in with private work during holidays if you choose, it offers a career that combines purpose, stability and flexibility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Plumbing & Heating Engineer, Domestic Plumber or Plumbing Lecturer looking to make a genuine difference while building a long-term career within education.
