Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Plumbing Instructor for a large FE college in Aylesbury. No teaching experience required; full teacher training provided.

You will deliver practical plumbing sessions, supervise workshops, ensure health and safety, and support learners while they transition into teaching roles. Industry plumbing experience is essential and you will help develop the next generation of tradespeople.

Are you a Plumber with strong hands-on industry experience?

Do you want to step away from the tools and into a rewarding role where you can pass on your knowledge to the next generation of plumbers while receiving full teacher training?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, modern Further Education college that is committed to developing industry professionals into outstanding educators. No previous teaching experience is required, with full support and funded teacher training provided.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced lecturers, delivering practical Plumbing sessions, supporting learners in the workshop, maintaining a safe learning environment and ensuring equipment and resources are prepared for practical activities. You will also supervise learners during practical sessions, reinforce key skills and help students develop the confidence and practical ability needed to succeed in industry.

The ideal candidate will have practical Plumbing experience, a Level 2 qualification or above in Plumbing and a good understanding of health and safety within a workshop or site environment. You will be enthusiastic about developing others and looking for a long-term career in education.

The Role:
