Job summary

Niyaa People seeks a Multi-Trade Operative (Plumbing Specialist) for Maidenhead on a 12-month contract. You will perform reactive repairs and essential plumbing work across social housing, while also handling broader multi-trade tasks. A driving licence and self-sufficiency are required.

Earn 43,951£ per year plus up to 7,032£ performance pay, with a company van and £155 annual tool allowance. 42 hours/week and rota-based out-of-hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a plumber by trade or has substantial, demonstrable plumbing experience.
• Previous experience working as a Multi-Trade Operative, Plumber or similar.
• Strong plumbing skills alongside experience in other trades.
• Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
• Experience working in both void and tenanted properties.
• Experience working independently or on a self-employed basis.
• The ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.
• A professional and customer-focused approach.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• A willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota.

Responsibilities

• Completing reactive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
• Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance as your primary trade.
• Undertaking a variety of multi-trade repairs across void and tenanted properties.
• Completing general property maintenance and associated remedial works.
• Identifying faults and carrying out repairs to a high standard.
• Managing your workload and responding to changing priorities.
• Working professionally with tenants and minimising disruption.
• Completing jobs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintaining clean and tidy working areas.
• Participating in an out-of-hours service on a rota basis.
