Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Plumber to cover Redhill and surrounding areas, offering £34,000-£36,000 per annum with a company van, fuel card and generous pension contribution. This full-time, permanent role focuses on responsive repairs across occupied social housing properties, with jobs allocated via a mobile app.

The ideal candidate has at least four years in plumbing, NVQ Level 2, multi-trade skills, social housing experience, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• At least four years' plumbing experience.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent experience.
• Multi-trade skills including basic carpentry and maintenance.
• Experience in social housing or occupied residential properties.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own hand tools and ability to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive plumbing repairs in residents' homes.
• Replace baths, taps, washers and other plumbing components.
• Investigate and repair minor leaks.
• Undertake minor carpentry, including bath panels.
• Undertake multi-trade repairs and general property maintenance.
• Travel between allocated jobs across the housing portfolio.
