Job summary

Niyaa People is recruiting a Multi-Trade Operative (Plumbing Specialist) to cover Maidenhead and surrounding areas. You will perform reactive repairs and maintenance on social housing properties, with plumbing as your primary trade and other trades as needed.This permanent role offers a base salary of £43,951 per year with up to £7,032 performance pay, a company van, protective clothing and a £155 annual tool allowance. 42 hours per week, out-of-hours rota, and UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a plumber by trade or has substantial, demonstrable plumbing experience.
• Previous experience working as a Multi-Trade Operative, Plumber or similar.
• Strong plumbing skills alongside experience in other trades.
• Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
• Experience working in both void and tenanted properties.
• The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• A professional and customer-focused approach.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• A willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota.

Responsibilities

• Completing reactive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
• Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance as your primary trade.
• Undertaking a variety of multi-trade repairs across void and tenanted properties.
• Completing general property maintenance and associated remedial works.
• Identifying faults and carrying out repairs to a high standard.
• Managing your workload and responding to changing priorities.
• Working professionally with tenants and minimising disruption.
• Completing jobs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintaining clean and tidy working areas.
• Participating in an out-of-hours service on a rota basis.
