Wolseley UK (Plumb Centre) is recruiting a Sales Assistant for the Bideford branch. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri 8am–5pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am–12pm as overtime. You will assist trade customers, provide quotations, and help with stock and order fulfillment.

The successful candidate will have plumbing knowledge and proven face-to-face sales experience, strong communication, and a customer-first approach, plus team commitment across the branch.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge in plumbing and heating is beneficial.
• Proven experience in a face-to-face sales/customer service role.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Good teamwork and willingness to support in all branch areas.

Aufgaben

• Serve customers at the trade counter with product recommendations and quotations.
• Build relationships to drive repeat business and maximise lifetime value.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email with prompt quotes.
• Perform general warehouse duties: stock booking, putting away and order picking/packing.
