Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is looking for a Sales Assistant at the Bideford branch. You will assist customers at the trade counter, offer product recommendations and quotations, and foster relationships to drive repeat business.

You will handle enquiries by phone and email, provide prompt quotes, and support warehouse tasks such as stock checks and order picking. The role is full-time (40 hours, Mon-Fri 8am–5pm, with Saturdays 1 in 3, 8am–12pm).

Formación

• Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial.
• Experience in a face-to-face sales/customer service role.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Good team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch.

Responsabilidades

• Serving customers on the trade counter with needs analysis and quotations.
• Building relationships to drive repeat business and maximise lifetime value.
• Responding to enquiries via phone & email, providing quotes promptly and courteously.
• General warehouse duties including stock booking, shelving and picking/packing orders.
